C.I.Agent® EVAC Wastewater Filtration Systems

The C.I.Agent® EVAC Wastewater Filtration Systems are dewatering equipment that use state-of-the-art wastewater filtration and dewatering technology to remove suspended solids and light sheen from wastewater discharge operations in vaults, manholes, elevator shafts, bilges, tanks and more. Its unique four-layer dewatering system utilizes C.I.Agent® Oil Solidifying Polymers to adsorb hydrocarbons, in addition to removing large and fine sediment, and polishing the water.

For utilities, the EVAC Wastewater Filtration System can be viewed as dewatering equipment, a regulatory compliance device and a best industrial wastewater management practice. The use of high performance fabrics meticulously connected with performance based stitching allows the EVAC to endure not only high flows but also higher pressures. Due to superior engineering, the EVAC performs better than all its competitors.

EVAC Lite with Agent-Q

The C.I.Agent® EVAC Lite with Agent-Q dewatering equipment offers all the benefits and flexibility of the EVAC Lite, but includes a layer of C.I.Agent® Agent-Q for even more protection against oil.

EVAC Lite with Agent-Q Product Specifications

  • 4-layer state-of-the-art wastewater filtration media absorbs hydrocarbons, removes large and fine sediment, and polishes the water
  • Dewatering bag measures approximately 50 inches by 12 inches
  • C.I.Agent Agent-Q provides high hydrocarbon binding and filtration capability with no wastewater flow restriction. It provides oil containment by shuting off in the presence of hydrocarbons to prevent oil from going through to the pump. Agent-Q has two layers of fabric which contain, in sonic bonded quilted diamonds, at least 350 grams per m2 of C.I.Agent Solidifying Polymers.
  • One layer of Agent-Q flows 400 gallons/minute/m2. It has an average grab strength of a nominal 60 pounds (ASTM D5034 testing) and a burst strength of a nominal 70 psi (ASTM D3786 testing).
  • C.I.Agent Solidifying Polymers are listed in the EPA National Contingency Plan Product Schedule* for oil spill cleanup and are effective in temperatures ranging from -30°F to +130°F.
